What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device. Some are needed to make the site work (technical); others measure or profile (and require your consent). Similar technologies — such as browser local storage (localStorage) — can perform comparable functions.

What we use

1. Consent preference (technical, no cookie)

To remember your cookie choice, we save a value in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key huko-consent). It is not a cookie, it is not sent to our servers, and it is not used to track you: it only serves to avoid asking for your choice on every visit. It is strictly functional and does not require consent.

2. Traffic statistics (Vercel Analytics, no cookie)

We measure site usage in aggregate, anonymous form, without cookies and without persistent identifiers. We do not reconstruct the journey of an individual visitor.

3. Meeting-booking calendar (HubSpot Meetings — third party, subject to consent)

On pages with booking (/en/contact and the TrueVisit page) the calendar is provided by HubSpot. When it loads, HubSpot sets cookies necessary for the widget to function and stay secure (for example, technical security cookies such as Cloudflare's __cf_bm, which delivers the HubSpot service). This happens only after your consent: if you do not consent, you see a placeholder instead of the calendar and HubSpot is not loaded.

We do not use our own profiling cookies, nor advertising or social network cookies.

How to manage or withdraw consent

On your first visit, a banner appears with Accept and Decline. You can change your mind at any time through the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the banner and lets you withdraw consent.

Alternatively, you can clear the site's data from your browser settings, or block third-party cookies. Withdrawal takes effect on subsequent HubSpot loads; a calendar already open on the current page stays active until the page is next loaded.
